Concept2 RowErg with Tall Legs (Model E) – Review

Concept 2 had done some rebranding in 2021, which saw its Model E rowers updated to Concept2 RowErg with tall legs. The company’s rowers are renowned as the best indoor air rowers and they are used all over the globe. They are commercial-grade rowers, which means they are designed to withstand heavy use for a long time.

The Workout Experience

It should be noted that the Concept2 RowErg with Tall Legs (Model E) is similar to Model D, but has been designed for larger users to provide them with a higher seat height and some more substance. Therefore, it has a single leg design in both the front and back that offers it more stability. It feels solid because the frame is a tad heavier at 65 pounds as opposed to the 57 pounds used on the Model D.

A ‘Quiet Cog’ system has been added by Concept2, which reduces the sound the machine makes because a urethane washer can be found on both sides of the cog. ABS Thermoplastic has been used on the traveling and idler pulleys for noise reduction and increased durability. The good thing about the flywheel is that it is above the monorail, so it is possible to sit upright and look forward instead of leaning down during recovery. The Ergonomics
